Welcome to KangarooOdds. By accessing, registering, or using our platform (KangarooOdds.com), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before creating an account or placing a bet. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the User", "Punter", "Customer") and KangarooOdds ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"). By checking the box during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Betting Rules.
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
2.1 Age and Jurisdiction
To register an account with KangarooOdds, you must be strictly 18 years of age or older. Underage gambling is a criminal offense. By opening an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you are a resident of Australia or a jurisdiction where online sports betting is legally permitted.
2.2 Account Verification (KYC)
In accordance with Australian Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) legislation, we are legally obligated to verify your identity. You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information upon registration. We may request documentation (e.g., driver's license, passport, utility bill) to complete this verification process. We reserve the right to suspend or close your account and withhold funds if verification cannot be completed satisfactorily within 14 days of account creation.
2.3 Single Account Policy
You are permitted to open only one (1) account with KangarooOdds. Duplicate accounts are strictly prohibited. If we discover that you have opened multiple accounts, we reserve the right to close all associated accounts, void any active bets, and confiscate any winnings derived from duplicate accounts.
3. Deposits and Withdrawals
3.1 Funding Your Account
You may deposit funds into your KangarooOdds account using the payment methods provided on our platform. The name on the payment method must match the name registered on your KangarooOdds account. We do not accept third-party payments.
3.2 Withdrawals
Withdrawals will only be processed after your account identity has been fully verified. Withdrawals will generally be paid back to the original method used for deposits. If this is not possible, we will transfer funds via bank transfer to an Australian bank account registered in your name. Minimum withdrawal limits and processing times may apply.
3.3 Turnover Requirements
To comply with AML regulations, all deposited funds must be turned over (wagered) at least once at odds of $1.50 or higher before a withdrawal can be requested. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee if funds are requested for withdrawal without meeting this turnover requirement.
4. Placing Bets and Bet Acceptance
4.1 Bet Placement
Bets can only be placed online via our website or mobile application. A bet is not valid until it has been confirmed and a receipt/ticket number is issued by our system. It is the User's responsibility to ensure that the details of their bets are correct before confirming them.
4.2 Cancellation of Bets
Once a bet has been confirmed, it cannot be canceled or changed by the User. KangarooOdds reserves the right to cancel or void any bet at our absolute discretion if there is a palpable error (obvious pricing mistake), technical failure, or evidence of foul play/match-fixing.
